S. Jakarta to Place 100 Personnel in Tourist Destinations

Around 100 personnel will be deployed to anticipate traffic congestion in South Jakarta during Christmas holidays. Those personnel will be placed in two tourist destinations that are always crowded by visitors on holidays.

We deploy four personnel in each points to handle congestion on the location

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) Head, Christianto said, personnel will be on standby in Ragunan Zoo and Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village (PBB) areas.

There are eight guarding points in Ragunan Zoo. Those are Ragunan Zoo's main gate, west gate, south gate, east gate, Agriculture Ministry intersection, in front of Pasar Minggu RSUD, Jalan Cilandak KKO intersection and Pasar Minggu Terminal.

Meanwhile in Setu Babakan PBB, personnel will be alerted on Jalan Lenteng Agung, in Setu Babakan entrance, and on Jalan Sirsak T-Junction.

"We deploy four personnel in each points to handle congestion on the location," he explained, Friday (12/21).

Besides personnel, South Jakarta Sudinhub also plans to deploy two towing cars and two operational cars on Jalan Pertanian and in Setu Babakan.

"We also deploy three motorcycles for patrol. Personnel will be deployed on December 25-26 and the placement is situational," he added.
